They are beautiful, ridiculous, pathetic and touching. They are us.
In a closed bistro, everyone is preparing a surprise for the return of the owner's son. But a customer barges in. And the waitress panics. And then the other waitress falls in love. Nobody wants to see that he's the one they've been waiting for. And then the owner isn't really his son's father. And then his mother is in love with another man. But that other man isn't even alive. And anyway, nobody listens and nobody understands one another. But there's love galore.
Seeking to melt away the boundaries between reality and performance, blending dance, music, clamour and silence, this show is a clownesque, poetic fresco of the absurdity of human relationships.
