Camera Botanica is an association founded by Laure Chapalain in 2025.
Its mission is to connect the world of screens with that of living things, in order
to question our relationship to reality and to help shape informed citizens
by re-enchanting their imaginations.

The challenge of this logo animation was to create a dialogue between digital and analogue while preserving the clarity expected of a logo designed for many different formats.
The choice of mixed media therefore felt like an obvious solution: a way to bring together organic material and a graphic construction intended to work across multiple uses.

For the final look, several techniques were combined: digitising leaf prints made with gouache, traditional animation, and digital animation in After Effects.
The film unfolds in two phases: a contemplative interlude, followed by the logo reveal.
At first, the image is contained within a window-like frame that evokes the screen and cinematic language: it asserts a sensitive point of view and invites the viewer to cast a deliberate gaze on the living world. Then the logo is revealed, and its letters grow like plants—suggesting ideas that take root and expand, or a collective flourishing in unison.
